Derelict is a compelling character driven British crime thriller from filmmaker Jonathan Zaurin. Abigail (Suzanne Fulton), a young woman consumed by the brutal murder of her father, spirals into a world of seclusion, obsession and revenge. 10 years have passed since her father’s death and she is hellbent on punishing those who have caused her immense pain. Through a gripping non-liner structure, Abigail’s world collides with Matt’s (Michael Coombes), a young man whose already turbulent life is upended when his by estranged brother gets out of prison.

Conrad Craven's gritty crime thriller Dark Summer is a searing tale of loyalty, violence and vengeance. On the sweltering streets of Houston, Jarvis (Dion Jay) – a brilliant teen on the brink of a future at MIT – is forced into a deadly drug deal to save his dying mother. With his suburban friend Tre (Antwan Smith) the friends are catapulted into a violent spiral of gang warfare, corrupt cops and ruthless cartels. All the Lost Ones

All the Lost Ones, directed by Mackenzie Donaldson (Orphan Black, Snowpiercer), is a powerfully gripping thriller, set after a second American Civil War in a climate-ravaged future. Hiding in a remote cottage on the edge of the Bruce Peninsula, newly pregnant Nia (Jasmine Mathews) must choose between surrendering to the militia with her boyfriend Ethan (Douglas Smith) or attempting an escape with her sister Penny (Vinessa Antoine), in search of The Extremists, a rumoured resistance group. With time running out and the enemy closing in, Nia must decide what kind of world she wants to bring her baby into and what she’s willing to risk to bring about change. Daruma

Directed by Alexander Yellen (X Nation) and written by Kelli McNeil-Yellen, Daruma is a powerful story of connection, responsibility and redemption, with dark humour and heart. Patrick (Tobias Forrest), a paraplegic Iraq veteran, is forced to confront his past when he’s unexpectedly tasked with the guardianship of his young daughter Camilla (Victoria Scott), who he’s only just discovered exists. The Odd Job

Director Peter Medak’s 1978 black comedy The Odd Job stars legendary actor and co-writer Graham Chapman as the happily married Arthur Harris, who becomes suicidal when his wife suddenly up and leaves him. Trying, and failing miserably, to do the deed himself, but when a strange handyman (Sir David Jason) turns up on his doorstep to offer his services, he enlists the help of this peculiar stranger to kill him instead. But when Arthur’s wife decides to come back home and try again, he discovers that his homicidal hire has every intention of finishing the job. The Innkeepers

The Innkeepers is the critically acclaimed, award-winning early work from horror auteur Ti West. As the once-grand Yankee Pedlar Inn prepares to close its doors for good, two intrepid employees, Claire (Sara Paxton) and Luke (Pat Healy), decide to document the hotel’s legendary ghost stories during its final weekend. Armed with outdated recording equipment and a shared obsession with the supernatural, they tour the empty halls, hoping to capture evidence of the infamous spirit said to haunt Room 353. But as night falls and with only a handful of guests remaining, including retired actress turned paranormal expert, Leanne Rease-Jones (Kelly McGillis), an eerie darkness starts to fill the old building and Claire’s curiosity turns into a creeping dread. Malpertuis

Adapted from the novel by Jean Ray and featuring legendary filmmaker Orson Welles in a towering late-career performance. Harry Kümel’s Malpertuis centres on Jean-Jacques Griffon (Mathieu Carriere), a disillusioned young man who returns to his ancestral home after his father’s death, only to find the sprawling mansion has become a cryptic maze filled with strange inhabitants. His dying father has trapped several relatives and mysterious figures inside Malpertuis, an ancient, decaying mansion rumoured to be a prison for old gods disguised as humans. As Jean-Jacques unravels disturbing secrets about his family’s cursed legacy, he discovers supernatural forces at play. Daughters of Darkness
